Verified Mark Certificates: Put your mark on email marketing

To marketers, email is a lot like the microwave. It’s fast and convenient. It hasn’t changed much since it was invented. And everyone uses it—more than most in the industry want to admit.

Unfortunately, the same features that make email the world’s most widely used medium also make it particularly vulnerable to attack.

From tech to news. CPGs to ISPs, the world needed a quick, visual way for people to identify legitimate messages. Brands needed a better way to stand out from the crowd. And email itself needed a trust makeover.

So we partnered with a global network of top security-minded brands, email service providers and security companies to develop, test, and bring to market a new, highly visual upgrade to email marketing.

It’s called a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC, because it can’t be a digital security concept without a TLA [Three Letter Acronym]), and it lets authenticated brands put their logo in the user’s inbox, so customers can instantly tell the real deal from a spoofed phishing attempt.
