Make the most of every moment

As part of the client’s broader security push, “Security Above Everything,” we were asked to create a 90-second video case study and a 30-second “sizzle” video showcasing their partnership with the NBA (specifically the cybersecurity measures that went into All Star Weekend, 2018).

When developing the concept and script, it seemed to me that, above everything, security means not having to worry. You don’t see it. You don’t think about it. You’re free to enjoy the game.

We shot B-roll at the Staples Center during All Star Weekend, and then flew to the NBA’s headquarters in scenic Secaucus, New Jersey to film interviews in the NBA replay room (which is the first time I’ve been literally giddy on a shoot day). The last thing we wanted was a standard “talking head” video, so we tried shooting a roundtable-style group interview instead. It ended up being exactly what the piece needed.
